100% Whey Protein 5.28 LBS Ultimate Nutrition Prostar Review

Whey Protein

There are various protein supplements brands out there in the Indian market today and sometimes deciding which one to buy becomes quite confusing.

I have been using Whey Protein for quite a while now and have also tried other forms of protein powders as well.

It doesn’t really matter as long as you are buying from a well-reputed brand and the supplement product is genuine.

All the well-known whey supplements company pretty much offer the same amount of protein in each serving.

The quality of Whey Protein is good because of which they are well known in the industry and still sustain the pride with them, and the difference between these competitors lies in what else is in the bag, for example like how much Glutamine or BCAA.

It becomes a big question in the end, which one of these worked for you, which one’s tastes good for you, which one suits your budget.

I recently purchased Ultimate Nutrition Prostar 100% Whey Protein 5 lbs powder and after using it for a while now, here I am doing a short review on its major components.

  • Nutrition:

Whey Protein

Ultimate Nutrition Prostar 100% Whey Protein contains 25 grams of protein in every scoop of it which in my opinion is adequate enough for our body.

1 gram of total fat consumed only for 120 calories per serving, it also contains 6 grams of BCAA (Branched Chain Amino Acids) which is good for recovery after a rigorous workout.

  • Taste and Flavor:

Ultimate Nutrition is a well-reputed company which deals with products like Whey Protein, Mass gainers, Casein protein, Flax seed oil etc.

Their Whey Protein (Prostar) comes in several flavors like Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Cream, Cookies ‘n Cream, Vanilla etc. The one I bought was Cocoa Mocha and I really liked the taste.

I haven’t yet tried the other flavors so cannot really comment on those, nor can compare them with Cocoa Mocha.

It did taste a little sweeter than other brands that I have used but not so much that I would complain about it, I do not mix it with Milk but use it with plain water so that added bit of sweet actually worked for me (you can try with milk too).

  • Price:

Price is quite reasonable. I bought the 5lbs pack for only Rs. 3,899 from an online store which I will mention at the end of this review.

This price is at par when compared to other related brands like Optimum Nutrition, BSN etc. they whoop up and cross over Rs.6,000 for the Whey Protein.

The site from where I’ve ordered is also very reasonable compared to its competition and physical supplement store. As I said I will reveal the website in the end part.

  • Servings:

I was really impressed by the number of servings in the container. The 5 lbs pack (5.28 to be precise) has 80 servings in it which if not a lot then at least a little extra than other brands.

A universal 5 lbs pack contains 75 servings, BSN would only give you about 45 servings, Muscletech Phase 8 would give 54 servings (with slightly more protein per serving), ON comes with 77 servings (but their price is way too high comparatively) with the almost equal amount of protein.

  • Mixability:

I have had no issues mixing it with both water and milk. Couple of shakes and it mixes pretty well. I did not find any lumps remaining at the bottom of the shaker even though I usually take my shaker to the gym and drink in between and immediately after workout.

This is the first time experience of me using Ultimate Nutrition Prostar 100% Whey Protein and I came up with this decision to stick it to this brand, this is simply awesome and affordable.

This is a good Whey Protein that will give you the value for your money as long as you are working hard in the gym.

Consume 1 gram of Whey Protein for every pound of your body weight but do not completely rely on whey powder for your protein intake. Consume milk, eggs and other forms of protein as well.

I need 75 grams of protein on a daily basis so I am taking about 3 scoops of Ultimate Nutrition Prostar every day.

For the rest, I am depending on chicken, eggs and milk, soy and Casein protein. Use this product, hit it hard in the gym, sweat and you are bound to see the results.

Now, here I am mentioning the website from where I brought this Ultimate Nutrition Prostar 100% Whey Protein.

I brought this from Healthxp, you can buy this product online as well if you are not able to find a reliable seller in the market.

As a matter of fact, I did see it in a couple of supplement shops but the prices were a little less here so I ordered it from there.

You can click on HealthXP to check their website and if want to order your stack of course.

I hope this review was helpful. I would love to hear back from other people who have used this brand and would like to share their experience. Please feel free comment if you wish to do so or have any other queries, cheers!!!
