Wash all the apples, pat them dry, then peel and core them. Make pieces of all the apples. Take a big cooking pot or pan; put the apple pieces in it. Pour one cup of water, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Boil the mixture on a high flame and once it is cooked then put the flame in the medium range and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 20 minutes the apples will turn soft enough to mash with a masher or fork. If you want your apple sauce chunky keep, ten use masher or fork. And if you want smooth paste then puree it grinder or food processor.

11. Vinegar and baking soda:


Vinegar and baking soda bubble up when mixed; therefore it can be a good substitute for eggs. It gives an airiness and fluffiness required in a dish. Mix one teaspoon of baking soda with one teaspoon of vinegar for one egg replacement.

12. Prunes:


Pureed prunes can be used to replace eggs in a baked dish. Take ¼ cup of pureed prunes for one egg. It will also give its distinct flavor and health benefits.
